Christopher Treinen, DDS, MD

Hi, my name is Chris Treinen. I'm a board certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon at Iowa Dental implants and oral surgery. Grew up farming and working, doing construction jobs and things like that. And I really enjoyed working with my hands. Like I drew me to dentistry. And when I had an oral surgery, when I got my wisdom teeth out, he said, hey, chat with me sometime. So I did, and I loved it. And I haven't looked back since. I enjoyed doing trauma cases, but I really also really like dental alveolar just the same day procedures, taking care of getting teeth out, putting in implants and really just seeing people get better. It's amazing to see how you can change somebody's life and getting them out of pain or restoring function. A lot of my day is discharging patients, and a lot of times people who are come in holding inside of their face and they walk out and they're smiling and I get a handshake and a smile. So that's probably the best part of my neck. My team is phenomenal. We've all grown together, and that's been the really cool part about it. We're a family, we're all one mind, and we really embody the same values, and that's what I love about it. When you come here, you know you're going to be treated well from your first phone call. When you call in, you know you're going to be scheduled on a timely manner. You are going to be treated with the utmost respect and compassion, and that is from every member of this team.
