With extensive training in the full scope of oral surgery, and specialization in full arch restoration—Dr. Treinen is dedicated to helping you achieve your best smile and health.
About Dr. Treinen
Dr. Treinen grew up right here in the Midwest, hailing from Northwest Iowa. He understands the values of hard work and community that make this area so special. He is passionate about providing expert care that feels personal and supportive.
After completing his initial dental training, Dr. Treinen continued to advance his expertise. He went on to pursue advanced medical and surgical education to ensure he could offer the highest level of care to his patients.
Education
Dr. Treinen’s journey to becoming a surgeon is built on a strong foundation of learning and commitment to excellence:
- Bachelor of Science (with Honors): South Dakota State University
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS): University of Iowa College of Dentistry
- Medical School & Residency: Completed comprehensive medical and oral maxillofacial surgery training in Omaha, Nebraska
Outside the Office
When he isn’t caring for patients or teaching students, Dr. Treinen loves embracing the great outdoors. You can often find him hunting, fishing, or farming—staying true to his roots. Most importantly, he cherishes quality time with his wife, Katie, and their two young daughters. He understands that family is everything, and he brings that same level of care and respect to when treating you and your family.
